Opera Mariposa is proud to provide an archival home to ‘Opera and Disability’, a research blog dedicated to exploring the representation of disability in opera. Founded in 2017 by musicologist Dr. Charlotte Armstrong, this groundbreaking resource became unavailable after Dr. Armstrong’s retirement from academia… until now! We are thrilled to bring it back online with a fresh new look, and ensure that this important body of work remains accessible for years to come.
